I love watching what God is doing. Last year, Navy veteran Chris Ring was the first American to swim the length of the Mississippi River, to honor the fallen soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan–a Gold Star swim. (The name Christopher means Christ-bearer.)
Beginning last year and continuing into this year, the Inherit Movement has bussed intercessors to the county seats of Mississippi, to pray for each and every county.
Now intercessors Jon and Jolene Hamill are circling our nation in prayer on the Glory Train. This Turnaround Tour will be in Jackson on Wednesday, June 15, 6:30 pm at the Vineyard Church.
What mode of transportation will God use next?
Psalm 141:2 (ESV)
Let my prayer be counted as incense before you,
and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!
Revelation 8:3-4 (ESV)
And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel.
Our Father in heaven,
When You called Jon to undertake this mission, You gave him a vision of a strong locomotive blowing columns of steam as it followed the tracks from coast to coast. Let those columns of steam be counted as incense before You, with the prayers of the saints. Amen.
