2 Kings 9:33 (NLT) Death of Jezebel
“Throw her down!” Jehu yelled. So they threw her out the window, and her blood spattered against the wall and on the horses. And Jehu trampled her body under his horses’ hooves.
Last year, a prophet saw a wall of poverty around Yazoo City. This came to my mind when I read the scripture that recounted how Jehu eliminated the worship of Baal in Israel. It started with his anointing by the instruction of God received by Elijah. He executed Ahab’s son, King Joram of Israel, and the king’s ally, King Azahiah of Judah. Next, the king’s mother, Queen Jezebel, was executed, and her blood splattered on the wall and horses. Lastly, all worshippers of Baal were killed at one time and place.
Our Father in heaven,
We see through a glass darkly and do not know if there are Jezebel spirits propping up the walls of poverty in the Mississippi Delta.
We call forth Your Jehus and say, “Arise! The walls of poverty and Baal worship must come down!”
If there are persons with a spirit of Jezebel holding the walls up, we declare to them, “Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, or leave!” Amen.
