God Most High,
Your servant Abraham followed Your call and left his homeland. He built altars to You and called upon Your name in Shechem, Bethel, and Hebron. He gave a tenth of everything to Melchizedek, the King of Salem and priest of God Most High. Abraham believed Your promises and You counted it to him as righteousness. He commanded his children and his household to keep Your ways by doing righteousness and justice.
When informed of the impending destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham interceded. He who counted himself but dust and ashes pled for the salvation of the righteous.
When Abraham died, Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah.
Today seventy nations are meeting in Paris to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Stir the intercessors to follow the example of Abraham–to build altars, to call upon the name of God Most High, to please You with sacrifices, and to keep Your ways by doing righteousness and justice. Counting ourselves as but dust and ashes, we plead for the salvation of the righteous.
We pray that honor will be given to the purity and humility of heart of the intercessors. Amen.
