Inauguration Day–protection from terrorism

Psalm 52:1-5 (ESV)
Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man?
The steadfast love of God endures all the day.
Your tongue plots destruction,
like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.
You love evil more than good,
and lying more than speaking what is right. Selah
You love all words that devour,
O deceitful tongue.
But God will break you down forever;
he will snatch and tear you from your tent;
he will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah

Ps 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

Prov 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Our Father in heaven,
There is so much evil in the world today. We run to Your name. We declare Your name over the Inauguration Day events. We shout Your name over our borders. We proclaim, Blessed is the name of the Lord over the United States of America. Amen.

Ps 9:9-11 The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Sing praises to the LORD, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done.

We praise Your holy name and proclaim Your mighty works among all of the states of our nation. Amen.

And with the devious you will show yourself shrewd. (Psalm 18:26b)

O Lord God Almighty,
Your strong arm is not foreshortened. Show Yourself shrewd to the workers of terrorism and insure that no weapon of theirs shall prosper, nor word curses prevail. Amen.
Isaiah 54:17

Psalm 46:1 (ESV)
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.

Lord God Almighty,
You are our refuge and strength in this season of terrorism. Be present to the law enforcement officials in the United States and be their well proved help in trouble. Guard and protect President Obama, President-elect Trump, Vice-President Biden, Vice-President-elect Pence, and their families. Amen.
