Zechariah 6:11-13 (AMP) The Symbolic Crown
Take silver and gold [from them], and make an ornate crown and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Then say to Joshua, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Behold (look, keep in sight, watch), a Man (Messiah) whose name is Branch, for He shall branch out from His place (Israel, the Davidic line); and He shall build the [ultimate] temple of the Lord. Yes, [you are to build a temple of the Lord, but] it is He who shall build the [ultimate] temple of the Lord, and He shall bear the honor and majesty [as the only begotten of the Father] and sit and rule on His throne. And He shall be a Priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between the two offices [Priest and King].”’
Jesus, You are the Messiah whose name is Branch. You are the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, and the government shall be upon Your shoulder. We bless Your holy name.
We lift to You the governance of the Mississippi Delta–the U.S. Senators and Representative, the Governor, state legislators, county and city officials. We lift to You the courts. We lift to You the public schools. They are on Your shoulder.
There is salvation in no one but You. There is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved. We bless Your holy name. You are our hope. Amen.
