The Liberating King

Psalm 110:1 (NLT) A psalm of David
The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit in the place of honor at my right hand
until I humble your enemies,
making them a footstool under your feet.”

Our Father in heaven,

We thank You that Christ Jesus is the Anointed One, the Liberating King. This is the One who—imprinted with God’s image, shimmering with His glory—sustains all that exists through the power of His word.

We cry out, ‘Humble His enemies in the Mississippi Delta! Humble Amalek and all its confederate forces that conspire to wipe Your children off the face of the earth! Humble the spirits represented by Moab, Ammon, Edom, Ishmael, Hagar, Gebal, Philistia, Tyre, and Assyria. Make Amalek and its confederate forces a footstool under the feet of Jesus.’

We loose Your warring angels! At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus the Anointed One is Lord, to the glory of Your name.

We declare the name of Jesus over the men of the Mississippi Delta and say,

“Awake, O sleeper,
and arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
